When a sailing vessel sets out on a journey it does so tacking and jibing, maneuvers to navigate toward its destination. It can be thought of as “zig zagging” along the route to reach its goal.
Humans operate in a similar fashion. When we need to change the course of our lives, we plot out where we want to go and navigate in the direction of our goal.
Like sailing, we find ourselves constantly “zigging” and “zagging,” changing direction to compensate for the unexpected winds of fate that we encounter along the way. Often, it is our inner emotional compass. that inner voice that guides us to self-correct when necessary. Listening to our higher self, and knowing when to ask for direction, we can achieve the goals that we set sail for originally.
